Axis Firewall Manager
Axis Firewall Manager is the distributed Gui for securely administering your firewall from anywhere.
  • Axis Firewall Manager is a graphical management interface that manages iptables (for IP filtering and Network Address Translation) and OpenSSL (for generation and management of remote management client keys).
  • Runs on any Java-capable computers to remotely manage your firewall. The management program installs on clients in seconds, using Web Start technology.
  • Management access is restricted to any combination of source IPs or client keys. All client communications are SSL-encrypted.
  • Roving administrators can securely manage the firewall, even from across the Internet, by using Firewall-generated client SSL keys.
  • Client SSL keys are generated on demand and written to USB port.
  • Intelligent MDI interface. Anybody who has used Open Office or MS Office applications will be right at home.
  • Templates provided that cover all common network designs. Unlike all other front ends for iptables, Axis Firewall Manager supports all network designs.
  • You can define groupings (of addresses, networks, ports, interfaces) of items that have the same security needs and risks. This simplifies administration, since you only need to manage rules for these group entities. As addresses change or computers are added or removed, you simply change the entity list without changing the rules.
